Arrive in Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day exploring Argentina’s cosmopolitan capital, known for its grand boulevards, café culture, and European-influenced architecture. This vibrant city provides an elegant introduction to the Andean journey ahead.

Discover the city’s highlights including Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero, and Recoleta. Experience the atmosphere that has made Buenos Aires one of South America’s most celebrated capitals. In the evening, enjoy Argentine cuisine and perhaps a traditional tango performance.

Fly north to Salta, one of Argentina’s most beautiful colonial cities. Explore Plaza 9 de Julio, the Cathedral Basilica, San Francisco Church, and the city’s historic streets. Surrounded by mountains and infused with indigenous Andean influences, Salta feels distinctly different from Buenos Aires.

Travel through the dramatic Quebrada de las Conchas, where wind and water have sculpted extraordinary red-rock formations. Arrive in Cafayate, Argentina’s premier high-altitude wine region, famous for Torrontés wines. Enjoy vineyard visits and tastings before returning to Salta.
