Waterways, Cats, and Exciting Adventures

We will arrive in Johannesburg early in the morning, and make our way to Botswana.

We will spend these two days in the peaceful and tranquil surroundings of the Okavango Delta. Here we will have time to relax, unwind, and explore the waterways of this world-renowned destination.

From Xigera Lodge we will be able to set out on mokoro explorations and boating outings, as the water levels at this time of year are reaching their peak.

We then take a short flight northward in a light aircraft to the regions of the Savute Marsh.

There is much to be seen in the way of large game, predators, and big cats in this area, and we are hitting it at its peak. Expect great opportunities for photographs, plus plenty of time to share stories around the camp fire of the luxurious Savuti Camp – something that can best be described as a royal pampering.

We continue exploring the Savute Marsh and experiencing its wildlife and landscapes.

We then take a short flight further north, and a road trip through the Zimbabwean and Zambian borders, to the banks of the Zambezi River.

There is much to see and plenty to do here to keep us busy – including the day out white water rafting through the rapids downstream of Victoria Falls, and scenic helicopter flights over the falls, excellent for bringing home prized photographs.

On this day we set off by air to Johannesburg, from where we fly homeward, arriving back on the 10th day.
