Day
1
After landing at Jomo Kenyatta International in Nairobi, we make our way to the famous Giraffe Manor on the outskirts of the city. Here you will find friendly giraffes in the most surprising places; peeking through a bedroom window or at the breakfast table, checking out what is on your plate. A visit to the giraffe centre is a highlight of our stay here, and we spend one night in the Manor House.
Day
2
On the morning of the second day, we fly via private charter to the Ma’asai Mara, where we will be able to catch a glimpse of the spectacular landscape and possible wildebeest herds from the air.
Day
3
The first two nights, spent at Mara Plains Camp, offer unparalleled adventure and private game viewing in one of Africa’s most iconic destinations.
Day
4
We continue to enjoy private game viewing experiences in the Maasai Mara, exploring the landscapes and wildlife of this iconic destination.
Day
5
We get a change of scenery at our next stop in the Maasai Mara at Angama Mara: a remarkable camp set high above the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Direct access to the Mara, panoramic views and tailor-made safari days are the reasons we choose this camp for the ultimate experience of the Ma’asai Mara.
Day
6
We also include an early morning hot air ballooning adventure during our stay in the Mara.
Day
7
We make the journey across the border to Tanzania via a flight and drive combination, and then into the Serengeti, Tanzania’s vast, iconic northern national park. (content split into day sequence)
Day
8
Singita Sasakwa is our choice in the Serengeti because of its refined opulence and old-world feel woven into every aspect of the Manor House. From this superb vantage point, one can marvel at the abundance of wildlife, including the annual migration of zebra and wildebeest.
Day
9
Game drives are on a private concession, ensuring uncrowded and intimate wildlife viewing.
Day
10
On the final day of our safari, we make our way back to Nairobi to board our homeward-bound flight, arriving home the following day.
