Romantic Excellence Across Namibia

We arrive in Johannesburg in the morning, and from there take a connecting flight to Namibia, and onwards to the Namib Desert.

We make our way through a short part of the Namib Desert in Namibia, which is one of the oldest deserts on earth, to the inspiring NamibRand Reserve.

We explore this area from the privacy of our own private suite, nestled near the mountainside at Wolwedans, with sweeping views of the desert plains, and will have a dedicated private chef and a butler on hand to make sure that all our needs are met.

From there we make our way toward Sossusvlei, where the desert scenery around the area is dramatic and inspiring.

Deep red sand dunes curve gracefully, stretching from horizon to horizon, giving one the sensation of time slowing down to a standstill, a highly unique experience.

On our second morning here we will take an early morning balloon safari over the Namib Desert. We witness the spectacular first light, and being swept by the morning breeze we land in a truly remote part of the desert, culminating in a champagne brunch served in the most romantic surroundings, circled only by hundreds of miles of desert dunes.

From the Sossusvlei area we take a flight in a light aircraft northward.

We spend our time in the vicinity of the vast Etosha National Park, enjoying daily game drives in the cooler, drier weather, and with the abundant array of life in the area we expect to see some of Africa’s exciting wildlife. We base ourselves at the idyllic Little Ongava Lodge, which prides itself in exclusivity, ensuring an intimate safari experience.

We make our way to Johannesburg in the morning, catching our flight home and arriving on the 10th day.
