1
Welcome to Morocco’s west coast. Casablanca is a modern city with a strong French influence. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, located on an outcrop over the Atlantic Ocean, and admire its marblework, wood and stone carving, and gilded ceilings.
Explore Parc de la Ligue Arabe and visit the Casablanca Cathedral. Walk through the Old Medina and the Hobous (New Medina), known for its markets and Moorish architecture. End with a stroll along the Boulevard de la Corniche.

Travel northeast toward Fes. Stop in Meknes and explore the Ville Impériale and medina. Visit Bab al-Mansour gate and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Continue to the Roman ruins of Volubilis and explore the UNESCO-listed site.
Arrive in Fes and visit the Merenid Tombs for panoramic views before settling into your riad.

3
Fes is the oldest imperial city and home to one of the most complete medinas in the Arab world.
Begin in Fes el Bali at Bab Boujloud and walk along Talâa Kebira past shops and souks.
Visit the Chouara Tannery and Al-Qarawiyyin Library and Mosque. Explore the intricate architecture and historic streets.

Travel south through the Middle Atlas mountains via cedar forests and the Col du Zad pass.
Stop in Midelt and continue through the Ziz Valley with its palm forests and ksars.
Arrive in Merzouga and ride a camel across the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Watch the sunset and spend the night in a desert camp.

Watch the sunrise before departing the desert. Visit Khemliya and continue to Rissani.
Travel to Tinghir and explore the Todra Gorge.
Continue through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs and Kelâat M’Gouna before arriving in Ouarzazate.

Visit Aït Benhaddou and explore its historic ksar and granary.
Cross the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and view Mount Toubkal.
Arrive in Marrakech and explore Jemaa el-Fna in the evening.

Explore the Koutoubia Mosque and gardens.
Walk through souks including Souk el-Attarin and Souk Smata. Visit Ben Youssef Madrasa.
Optionally visit Saadian Tombs, El Badi Palace, or Bahia Palace.

Travel to Essaouira along the Atlantic coast, passing argan forests.
Explore the Skala de la Kasbah ramparts and walk along the beach.
Visit the medina and enjoy fresh seafood.
Day

Spend the morning in Essaouira watching windsurfers or exploring the beach.
Return to Casablanca with stops along the coast.
Explore the Old Medina and local markets for souvenirs.

Depending on your schedule, explore more of Casablanca.
Optionally visit Boulevard de la Corniche or Rick’s Café before transferring to the airport.
