Begin in Opatija, often called the “Monte Carlo of the Adriatic,” famed for elegant villas, grand Habsburg architecture, manicured gardens, and the scenic Lungomare promenade.
Continue to Rijeka, Croatia’s vibrant coastal city known for its maritime heritage and Austro-Hungarian influences. Highlights include the City Clock Tower, Adamić Palace, St Vitus Cathedral, and panoramic views from Trsat Castle overlooking the city and coastline.
Later, explore Krk Island, Croatia’s largest island, visiting picturesque towns such as Vrbnik, Krk, and Baška, each offering charming stone streets, harbours, and coastal scenery.

Journey into the heart of the Istrian countryside for a day centred around one of the region’s greatest culinary treasures — truffles.
Beneath the medieval hilltop town of Motovun, join a professional guide and trained dogs for an authentic truffle hunting experience through the forests of the Mirna River Valley.
Afterwards, enjoy tastings of truffle delicacies, local olive oils, and renowned Istrian wines alongside a cooking demonstration and freshly prepared light lunch.
Later, explore the enchanting town of Motovun itself, wandering through cobbled streets lined with artisan shops, cafés, galleries, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the surrounding valleys.

Relax with spa treatments, spend the day beside the pool or beach, or continue exploring Rovinj’s charming old town and scenic waterfront promenades.

Travel into southern Istria to visit a hidden countryside estate once used as a retreat for Austro-Hungarian army officers and now transformed into a luxury winery and wine hotel.
Surrounded by rich red soil and lush Mediterranean landscapes, the estate produces some of Istria’s most celebrated wines.
Tour the vineyards and winery while learning about indigenous grape varieties, traditional hand-pruning techniques, and modern wine production methods that capture the essence of the Istrian terroir.
Conclude the experience with an extensive tasting featuring seven wines paired with carefully selected local delicacies.

After breakfast, depart Rovinj and travel to Zagreb, Croatia’s lively and historic capital city.
Upon arrival at your centrally located hotel, spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure exploring Zagreb’s café culture, elegant Austro-Hungarian architecture, local markets, and vibrant nightlife.
Wander through the city’s charming Upper Town or enjoy relaxed evenings in the many restaurants and bars throughout the city centre.

Cross into neighbouring Slovenia for a full-day excursion to two of the country’s most iconic destinations.
Begin at Lake Bled, one of Europe’s most picturesque alpine lakes, surrounded by forests and the Julian Alps. A traditional boat will take you to Bled Island, home to the Church of the Assumption of Mary and its famous bell tower, reached by 99 stone steps.
After exploring the island and enjoying panoramic views across the lake, continue to Ljubljana, Slovenia’s charming capital city.
Discover the vibrant riverside atmosphere along the Ljubljanica River, stroll through the historic centre, and admire landmarks including Ljubljana Castle and the city’s elegant bridges and squares.

Your private driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to Zagreb International Airport for your departing flight home.
