Fire and Ice in Iceland

Day

1

Arrival in Reykjavík

Upon arrival at Keflavík International Airport, meet your private driver and Deluxe Iceland representative before transferring to Reykjavík to collect your luxury 4×4 rental vehicle.

At your hotel, you will receive a detailed overview of your personal itinerary and travel route before settling in for your first evening in Iceland.

The remainder of the day is free to explore Reykjavík, the world’s northernmost capital city, known for its colourful streets, vibrant restaurants, museums, bars, and striking coastal scenery.

Day

2

Blue Lagoon & Reykjavík

Begin the day at the world-famous Blue Lagoon, one of Iceland’s most iconic geothermal destinations.

Enjoy access to the luxurious Retreat Spa and unwind in soothing geothermal waters surrounded by lava fields and volcanic scenery. Spend time floating in the warm mineral-rich lagoon while taking advantage of the spa’s wellness facilities and tranquil atmosphere.

After your spa experience, continue back to Reykjavík for further exploration of the city at your own pace.

Day

3

The Golden Circle

Today’s journey follows the legendary Golden Circle route, one of Iceland’s most celebrated travel experiences.

Begin at Þingvellir National Park, where you can walk through the rift valley between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Continue to the geothermal area of Haukadalur to witness the mighty Geysir and the erupting Strokkur geyser, which sends boiling water high into the air every few minutes.

Next, visit Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls, before continuing towards Hotel Rangá. Along the route, stop at Friðheimar Tomato Farm, where lunch is served among greenhouse-grown tomato plants in a uniquely Icelandic dining experience.

Day

4

South Shore & Glacier Walk

Begin the day at Seljalandsfoss waterfall before continuing to the magnificent Skógafoss waterfall, where you can climb the 527 steps to the observation platform overlooking the surrounding landscapes.

Continue to Reynisfjara black sand beach to admire the dramatic basalt columns, the Reynisdrangar sea stacks, and the coastal cliffs of Dyrhólaey.

Later, join a guided glacier hiking tour on Sólheimajökull glacier and experience Iceland’s icy wilderness up close before heading to your accommodation for the evening.

Day

5

Lava Center & Snowmobiling

Start the day with a visit to the Lava Centre, where immersive exhibits explore Iceland’s volcanic activity, earthquakes, and geological history.

Continue to a local Icelandic farm to experience traditional rural life while enjoying coffee and Icelandic pancakes with your hosts.

In the afternoon, embark on an exciting snowmobiling adventure across Eyjafjallajökull glacier — the famous volcano that erupted in 2010 and disrupted global air travel.

Return in the evening after a full day of volcanic landscapes and Arctic adventure.

Day

6
