Day

1

Arrival in Tallinn

Arrive in Tallinn and settle into your centrally located boutique hotel before easing into the capital at your own pace. Wander through the atmospheric Old Town, browsing Estonian design boutiques, galleries and independent fashion stores tucked among centuries-old streets. Depending on your interests, the evening can include an optional ballet or opera performance or a guided introduction to Tallinn’s food scene. Before sunset, make your way to the Patkuli viewing platform on Toompea Hill, where the medieval walls, towers and rooftops stretch toward Kalamaja and the Baltic waterfront.

Day

2

Private Discovery of Tallinn

Meet your private guide for a three-hour exploration revealing both Tallinn’s medieval foundations and its modern character. Begin on Toompea Hill, taking in the onion domes of Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Estonian Parliament and historic Dome Church before admiring views across the Lower Town. Continue through Town Hall Square, past merchant houses and the historic Town Council Pharmacy, before slipping into the stone arches of St Catherine’s Passage. Your walk concludes in the Rotermann Quarter, where restored industrial buildings meet striking contemporary architecture. The remainder of the day is free for independent exploration or a relaxed afternoon at your hotel.

Day

3

Journey to Saaremaa

After breakfast, a private transfer takes you to Tallinn Airport for the short domestic flight to Kuressaare, capital of Saaremaa Island. From the airport, continue independently by short taxi ride to Ekesparre Boutique Hotel, a historic property beside Kuressaare Castle and the seaside promenade. The afternoon is intentionally unhurried, giving you time to settle into island life. Wander along Kuressaare’s quiet streets, stop at a local café or follow the waterfront as the town gradually gives way to Saaremaa’s open coastal scenery and tranquil atmosphere.

Day

4

Discovering Saaremaa and Kuressaare

Set out with your private guide for a half-day journey through Saaremaa’s cultural and natural heritage. Visit the remarkable Kaali Meteorite Crater before continuing to Karja Church and the traditional windmills at Angla, each revealing a different chapter of island history. Returning to Kuressaare, explore the imposing Kuressaare Castle with your guide and visit its museum, discovering the story behind one of Saaremaa’s defining landmarks. With the structured sightseeing complete, your evening is left free to enjoy Kuressaare’s relaxed pace, restaurants and peaceful waterfront surroundings independently.

Day

5

Final Departure

Enjoy a final breakfast on Saaremaa before beginning your private journey back to Tallinn. The return unfolds through the island’s understated scenery, passing stretches of forest, coastal meadows and traditional settlements before continuing across the Estonian countryside toward the capital. On arrival in Tallinn, you will be dropped either at the airport for your onward flight or at accommodation in the city should your travels continue. It is a gentle conclusion to a journey combining Tallinn’s architectural heritage with the quieter landscapes and distinctive character of Saaremaa.
