Discovering Central Kenya and the Maasai Mara

On arrival at Nairobi International Airport, we will transfer by light aircraft to Samburu National Reserve

The first three nights of our Kenyan safari adventure will be spent at Saruni Samburu. It is the only lodge in the Kalama Conservancy, bordering Samburu National Park, and it enjoys thousands of acres of unspoilt wilderness.

We will be able to relish in the magnificent view of Mount Kenya from the privacy of our own suite. During the days we will explore the vast landscapes and wildlife, with our own personal Samburu warrior to guide us.

After a morning game drive and a gourmet breakfast, it will be time to catch our transfer to the Laikipia Plateau.

The Laikipia Plateau is a high plateau that stretches from Mount Kenya in the south through to Lake Baringo to its north. We will stay in the luxurious Segera Retreat, which lies in the grasslands of the Laikipia Plateau.

All villas have their own private decks with lounge chairs and swinging beds for lazy afternoons or siestas. The villas are raised above beautiful botanical life and have their own private outdoor tub, ensuring a private and tranquil setting.

The new morning sees our departure to our last destination, the Maasai Mara.

The Maasai Mara is one of Kenya’s most popular destinations and is an expansive wildlife conservation area in the Great Rift Valley basin. We will spend our last three nights in the comfort of the Mara Plains Camp, at the heart of predator land.

We will enjoy our last game drive, and then a bush breakfast before heading out to catch our light aircraft back to Nairobi, and then our international flight home, arriving home on the 10th day.
