1

Arrival in Phnom Penh and Cyclo City Tour

Upon arrival in Phnom Penh, you’ll be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel. After some time to freshen up, head out on a cyclo (pedal-rickshaw) ride along the Mekong Riverside, passing colonial-era French buildings and historic landmarks.

Stops include Post Office Square, the National Library, and finally Wat Phnom, a hilltop pagoda that marks the founding place of the city. Your evening is free to relax or explore Phnom Penh’s dining scene.

Royal Palace, History and Museums

Visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, followed by the National Museum showcasing Khmer artefacts. After lunch, explore the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and Choeung Ek Killing Fields to understand Cambodia’s history.

The evening is free to explore the city.

Mekong Journey to Koh Trong Island

Travel along the Mekong River toward Kratie, passing floating villages and rural landscapes. Stop in Kampong Cham before crossing by ferry to Koh Trong island.

Enjoy the peaceful riverside setting and explore the island by bicycle or on foot.

Kayaking with Mekong Dolphins

Travel to Kampi for a kayaking excursion along the Mekong River in search of Irrawaddy dolphins. Paddle through river channels, sandbanks, and flooded forests.

Return for a relaxing afternoon on Koh Trong island.

Transfer to Kampong Thom

Return to the mainland and travel south to Kampong Thom. Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring the town, including pagodas and riverside scenery.

Sambor Prei Kuk to Siem Reap

Visit Sambor Prei Kuk, an ancient temple complex set within forest surroundings. Walk through the ruins before continuing to Siem Reap.

Angkor Thom and Preah Khan

Explore Angkor Thom by tuk-tuk, visiting Bayon Temple, Baphoun, and the Terrace of the Elephants. Continue to Preah Khan, a large temple complex intertwined with nature.

Angkor Wat Sunrise and Banteay Srei

Watch sunrise at Angkor Wat, then explore the temple complex. Continue to Banteay Srei, known for its intricate carvings, and visit Ta Prohm, where trees envelop the ruins.

Tonlé Sap and Cultural Experiences

Visit Tonlé Sap Lake and its floating villages, observing daily life on the water. Stop at the APOPO Visitor Centre to learn about HeroRATS before ending the day with a Phare Circus performance.

Departure from Siem Reap

Enjoy a free morning before transferring to the airport for your departure.
