Big Cats on Camera

Day one has us arriving at Johannesburg Airport after an overnight flight, where we catch our connecting flight onward to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

After a short flight and road transfer, we will arrive at the beautiful your preferred camp, famed for specialised safari experiences.

We’ll be using your preferred safari camp as a base for your photography experience. We’ll provide a dedicated ranger, trackers and professional photographic guides to help ensure that we all learn and develop our wildlife photography skills.

They will guide us out on the field, but are also experts in post-processing and editing. This time of year being the start of the ‘green season’ will mean that there will be lots to capture on film.

Today we take a short road transfer to Exeter River Lodge, which is toward the north of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.

Days will be designed to thrill us with intimate wildlife encounters. Sabi Sand Game Reserve is well known for its leopard sightings. We will spend a day on a specialist photographic safari where we will continue to learn and develop our wildlife photography techniques, and moving to a second location brings us new opportunities as wildlife move around.

Today we start making our way back to Johannesburg after a great few days learning about wildlife photography. We catch our international flight home, arriving on the 8th day.
