The Ultimate Group Safari in Namibia

Day one has us arriving at Johannesburg after an overnight flight, where we catch our connecting flight to Namibia, and onward to the vicinity of Sossusvlei.

Our first two nights will be spent in the Namib Desert in Namibia, which is one of the oldest deserts on earth. The desert scenery around the area of Sossusvlei is dramatic and inspiring – deep red sand dunes curve gracefully, stretching from horizon to horizon, and plunging dramatically into the dried white saltpans of the Tsauchab River below.

Being in the desert is a highly unique experience that should not be missed. We will be based at the luxurious Little Kulala Desert Lodge.

Leaving Sossusvlei, we will appreciate the Skeleton Coast from the privileged vantage point of a private aircraft flying at low level along the coastline, as we embark on an exciting scenic coastal flight past this rugged coastline, where the barren Namib Desert meets the Atlantic Ocean, to the Torra Conservancy in Damaraland.

Our base for the next two nights is the remote Damaraland Camp, which is situated in the Huab River Valley in one of the more remote wilderness areas in Namibia. It is characterised by sensational views of the surrounding desert plains, ancient valleys, soaring peaks and flat-topped mesas of the Etendeka Mountains.

We continue exploring the remote wilderness areas of Damaraland, experiencing its landscapes and desert-adapted wildlife.

Our last two nights will be spent in the vast Etosha National Park, where we will enjoy daily game drives in the abundant array of life in the area. We will spend our time at Ongava Lodge, where we will see the likes of elephant, springbok, blue wildebeest, giraffe, zebra and impala, amongst some of the bigger cats.

We will make our way to Johannesburg in the morning, catching our flight home and arriving on the 8th day.
