Arriving into Hanoi, you will be transferred to your hotel to check in.

Discover the real Hanoi on a vintage Minsk motorcycle. Wind through the maze of backstreets, tiny alleys, local homes, schools, and black markets. Thereafter, visit key highlights including Tran Quoc, Temple of Literature, French Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, West Lake, Hanoi Opera House, and Long Bien Bridge.

In the afternoon, hop on a vintage Gaz69 jeep to the Red River Delta countryside. See local villagers at work, stop at a tranquil banana and vegetable farm, and visit an artisan family at Bat Trang ceramic village to learn about this thousand-year-old craft. Conclude with the My Village bamboo circus performance, offering insight into Vietnamese village life through folk instruments and expressive storytelling.

This morning, enjoy a 45-minute Old Quarter cyclo tour, followed by a walk to a French colonial building near the Old Quarter. Thereafter, transfer to Ninh Binh.

Spend the entire day exploring the Ninh Binh area. Begin with a 90-minute Tam Coc sampan cruise, often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land,” before the crowds arrive. Pass through three caves, local communities, rice fields, and temples along the Ngo Dong River.

After checking out, transfer to your floating home for a one-night Lan Ha Bay cruise. While part of the greater Ha Long Bay region, it is less crowded, more pristine, and offers more adventurous activities.

Activities may include kayaking, trekking, cycling, swimming, squid fishing, and visits to villages or caves. The exact routing and activities vary depending on the boat and weather conditions.

The bay is most beautiful in the early morning as the first rays of sunlight touch the water. Begin the day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. After morning activities, relax while cruising past limestone cliffs and forested islets.

Return to the quay and transfer to Hanoi airport for your departure flight.
